The Best 5 Ways to get Google Services on Huawei devices - 2022

It’s 2022, and the Huawei Google ban is still in full effect... But there is still hope, and I’m going to show you 5 working methods to get google play services on your Huawei devices in 2022. And like Morpheus said in the matrix in the Matrix I can show you the door. It’s up to you to walk through it…

Method 1.

This app is an excellent choice as you actually find it in Huawei’s own Petal Search app. And the reason I like this one is that Huawei themselves have approved this as safe to use.

Simply search for GSpace in the petal search app and install…it really is that easy. When you log in with your Google account, it will show Google that you are using an Honor 8X, one of the last devices not on the ban list.

Method 2.

Next up is Ourplay. It’s equally as easy to install as GSpace. You find it using petal search. It will guide you to a Chinese website if you do it that way. You could just follow the link here to my website whatgear.net and get from there.

I’ve added a direct download link below this video. Simply download the ourplay apk follow the steps, and you’re good to go.

Method 3.

So the previous two, though they don’t say it, are virtual machines working within your opera system, whether EMUI or harmony os.

And this one VMOD is unashamedly a virtual machine operating system. Again there’s a link in the description. Simply download the VMOS Pro APK and follow the instruction… once installed, you now have a google ghost in the shell… and it works well.

Method 4.

Ok, this is number four, and this is by far the most tricky to install…but also the best one if you successfully install it. Shoutout to TK from the XDA forums for this one. The first thing you must do is back up your device entirely & then factory reset it.

You will need a USB pen drive and a USB OTG connector to plug a dongle into the phone. Here are some pre-requisites :

• Downgrade to emui 10

• Get a USB pen drive with at least 8GB & NTFS

• Download files from XDA Forums *&unzip files and transfer to usb

• You'll need an OTG USB adapter

Follow the step by step tutorial on XDA developers forum here.

Method 5.

This is a very similar solution to GSpace. It works by emulating an older Huawei device with the operating system on your phone. The success ratio has been quite good with this one. Although from time to time, it will reset itself. It's not a perfect solution, but it is an excellent temporary solution.
