So I've been contemplating whether to write this article for awhile now. I think in 2018-2019 the Tech YouTuber world is quite crowded... However, the UK Tech influencer is quite rare. So let me shine some light on some of the UK Tech YouTubers out there.

So without further ado here is my very own definitive list of the Top UK Tech Youtubers at the moment…

10. Barbra Willow

This is a channel run by a chap named Jay. I have no idea what the story is behind the name Barbra Willow, if you know…let me know. I have got to respect the hustle, it's really difficult getting recognition in the early days. Jay has recently hit 4K subs! Which is awesome. The good thing about channels like this is you get to see a lot of tech that a lot of the big players will turn their noses up at... a great uk tech channel

I definitely can't knock the hustle...keep going Jay (never surrender)

9. Tech Spurt

So this channel is run by Chris from Recombu a massive tech website. I recently met Chris and asked him why he started his own channel Tech Spurt. He said it's his bit on the side...which is fair enough. This is a great channel, Chris is incredibly experienced & on top of that he has access to all the latest tech through his recombu connects.

I fully expect him to surpass my humble following very quickly... definitely one to watch. Check out the Tech Spurt

8. WhatGear

Right so I am shamefully putting myself in the list...but you know what the numbers don't lie. over 17 million watched minutes... that's 32.2 calendar years of WhatGear video content consumed... a respectable social media following on insta, twitter & Fb… and I'm still hustling.

I built WhatGear from scratch with no sponsors, no affiliation with big-name websites or companies backing me... literally just had to grind it out with whatever I could get my hands on to review. You will see the progression if you look back at my earlier videos. I'll never forget my 1st official product review from winnergear the montar car mount, I still use it today. If you get a chance take a look at 1st videos I ever made and you will see how the channel has grown without sponsors and the support of 3rd parties.

7. Btekt

Now, this is a strange one because for the longest time this channel was run by Basil from Btekt... I was a big fan and followed it quite avidly...now basil has jumped ship to techradar...who got some serious boos at the oneplus 6 launch event. I was there no word of a lie.

Anyway the BTekt channel is now run by David who I'm not that familiar with, but he has inherited the credibility, sponsors and contacts with the big brands so expect to see the latest tech in a timely manner here.

6. Chigz Tech

So I particularly like this channel because Chigz really doesn't follow suit with a lot of tech youtubers out there. On this Chigz Tech Reviews, you're going to see all kinds of crazy tech a lot of it not mainstream. There is so much tech being developed every day (a lot of it from China lets be honest). You can find it all here!

5. Beginners Tech

This is a great channel run by Ryan. The great thing about BeginnersTech it is quite different from all of the channels mentioned, and from the ones I’m about to mention. Ryan focuses a lot on computer accessories & peripherals, as well as gaming mods and setups.

All the videos are beautifully shot and well presented. A really great channel! I highly recommend you check it out. Also I think Ryan might be the only Scottish Tech YouTuber on the planet! Check out Beginners Tech

4. The Tech Chap

So this channel is presented by a proper English fellow, well-spoken queens English...if I do say so myself. Tom is very knowledgeable about all things tech. plus all the big brands recognize him for his significant following.

So again expect the latest and greatest tech from the Tech Chap. Pour yourself a cup 'o' tea kick back & watch some UK tech reviews.

3. ASBYT

Out of all the channels I've mentioned so far this is my favourite. This channel popped up on my feed out of nowhere, originally ASBYT was all about Kodi and Kodi related stuff, nowadays you can catch nearly daily content on awesome tech news and reviews, presented with a good bit of humor.

I really enjoy the content on the ASBYT channel...I know how difficult it is to get noticed and ASBYT has made it! May the force with you ASBYT.

2. SuperSaf

Of course, it is Super Saf on SuperSaf TV... try saying that 3 times first. So I got to meet Saf at the oneplus 6 launch in 2018 where TechRadar got booed by the entire audience. He's a really cool dude. He clearly has affiliations with all the big brands out there, there are very UK Tech Youtubers out there today that have access to the top tech like Saf.

So expect the latest tech, beautifully shot videos...not too dissimilar from unbox-therapy style I must say. Awesome content & his thumbnail game is off the charts.

1. MrWhoseTheBoss

So I also met Arun from MrWhoseTheBoss at the Oneplus event (tech radar booed off stage). He was super cool even took time to give me some pointers about YouTube. I'll be honest on my road as an emerging Tech YouTuber Arun is the 1st tech YouTuber to ever drop any knowledge. I really respect that!

Anyway beautifully shot vids, incredibly knowledgeable, you will see all the latest tech reviews and even app reviews and emerging tech news...all delivered very professionally…I guess you could call him the UK’s MKBHD in a way. So Arun from MrWhoseTheBoss is the UK's top tech YouTuber to date!
