ASUS Just Changed Everything! (CES 2026 Productivity Laptop Lineup)

Did you know that the Las Vegas strip is the brightest spot on the planet when viewed from the International Space Station? And did you know that over 140,000 people from 158 different countries flock here for the largest consumer electronics show on the planet? And this year, 2026, I’m one of them—though I’m pretty sure half those people are just here for the all-you-can-eat buffets.

Before I dive in, if you’re considering a new PC, it may be worth waiting. I’m about to walk you through the next generation of personal computing tech for 2026 at the official Asus CES 2026 booth.

While everything I’m about to show you is on the bleeding edge, there is one in particular that you have to see because, honestly, it might change the way you look at your next PC forever!

ProArt PZ14 ( Aprox £1200 based on PZ13)

Let’s start with the 14” Asus ProArt PZ14. If power, portability, and efficiency are important to you, you'll appreciate this one the most. It's designed to be ultra-slim and light, boasting a thickness of 9.0mm and a weight of just 790 grams, a bit over the weight of three phones. But who in their right mind would carry that many phones? ( If I can set up a clip of someone holding 3 phones, that could be funny )The laptop’s chassis is made from aerospace-grade aluminium, adding to its durability while maintaining its lightweight form.

So it’s super portable and rugged, with an official IP52 (rain & dust) rating. Asus has used Aerospace-grade 6063-series aluminium alloy to reinforce it, and they've also put the PZ14 through the MIL-STD 810H US test to make sure it’s tough enough.

It’s also got an incredibly powerful, power-efficient 18-core chip called the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite, which offers 80 TOPS (trillion operations per second) of AI processing. Imagine quickly editing photos with advanced AI enhancements while sitting outdoors, where the sunlight can often be harsh. That’s where its exceptionally bright and color-accurate 144Hz, 3K Asus Lumina Pro OLED display comes into play. With 1000 nits of brightness, you can edit photos with confidence, knowing you won't miss a detail, even in direct sunlight.

The battery size is large for such a slim machine (75Wh). It’s got impressive I/O with  2 USB-C ports, both of which support power delivery & are DisplayPort, and a full-size SD card slot. It also supports stylus input (Asus PEN 3.0), making it great for creators. It’s also got dual cameras (a 13MP rear autofocus camera capable of 4K resolution and an 8MP + IR front camera for secure logins). And the RAM and ROM are also top-tier (up to 32GB of 9600 MHz LPDDR5x RAM and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD).

ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 ( Approx £1400 - £2000 )

Now, let’s move on to a world first in the laptop space. This next device may be especially interesting if you need something even more portable, with even better battery life. The 13” Asus ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 is the result of a collaboration between Asus and GoPro, designed to be incredibly durable and robust. (It weighs just 1.39 kg, is only 15.8 mm thin, and meets US Military Grade MIL-STD 810H durability standards.)

You also get a bunch of GoPro perks with this one (GoPro Cloud import via StoryCube and integrated 360-degree footage editing, a 12-month GoPro Premium+ subscription, and 6 months of CapCut). And it’s even got a dedicated GoPro Hotkey and comes with an official Action Ready GoPro hard shell sleeve to keep it safe whilst you're on your adventures.

Its peak performance is impressive, too, & it's perfect for content creators & video editors. It's rocking the AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395 processor (50 TOPS NPU for real-time AI upscaling and effects). And you can get this one with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X, which is crazy. That's more RAM than my first-ever tower PC, which doubled as a space heater—and those took up an entire room.

It’s also got the Asus DialPad integrated in the touchpad for creating editing shortcuts in apps like Premiere Pro and Capcut.

The display is impressive, it’s a smaller at 13.3”, and it also supports the Asus Pen. ( 16:10 3K HDR display with 100% DCI-P3 colour, Pantone validation up to 500nits / VESA, TUV  certified). But this might surprise you: the battery size is almost as big at 73Wh.

And a big one up over the PZ14 is its convertible design (showing the different modes: laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes ). And the I/O is also good, too, and the PX13 has a microSD card slot well suited for you GoPro owners out there. ( 2x USB 4.0 Type-C, 1 USB 3.2 Type A, 1x HDMI 2.1 FRL, and a MicroSD (UHS-II & headphone jack)

Zenbook DUO 2026 ( Approx £1600 - £2100 )

Next up is the one that might change the way you look at a laptop forever. This is the Zenbook DUO 2026 model. The original Duo was released in 2019, and this is the 6th generation, and it’s so much better. Compared to the 2025 model, Asus has narrowed the gap between its two screens by 70% with its new hinge design & has increased the screen-to-body ratio to 93%. There are 6 speakers built in ( 2 tweeters, 4 woofers )

Its two 14” displays are incredible, both are 3K 144Hz OLEDs (1000 Nits ), and when you have two displays, you can be twice as productive...that’s not an exact science, so don’t quote me on that.

To keep them running for as long as, if not longer than, a classic-style laptop, Asus has given them a massive 99Wh battery.

It’s still got that detachable battery-powered keyboard with 200% more battery life, and improved travel distance on the keys, and this time around, Asus has managed to hide the charging pogo pins even better than before.

It’s got its own sturdy integrated kickstand, and instead of the more commonly used anodised aluminium, the entire chassis on the 2026 Zenbook DUO is made of Ceraluminum, which makes it 3X times stronger and 30% lighter than aluminum, and the footprint is 5% smaller than the previous model. ( 310.18 x 208.66 x 14.56-23.34mm (w/o KB) / 310.18 x 208.66 x 19.6-23.34mm (w/ KB) weight 1.35Kg.

The top tier chip you can get here is code-named Panther Lake; it’s the Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor, there are other options available. This is a massive upgrade compared to the previous model, making tasks faster and more efficient. In particular the NPU is significantly faster can render AI effects in one-third the time it previously took, especially benefiting graphics and on-board AI processing. The RAM and ROM options and I/O are also good, offering up to 32GB of 9600MT/s LPDDR5x ( onboard ) and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 (FRL), and an audio jack. So the Zenbook DUO can literally broaden your modern-day horizons in terms of productivity and multitasking on a laptop, and in my opinion, the ASUS Zenbook DUO is going to be hard to beat in 2026.

Asus ZenBook DUO (2026) Official Price

ASUS Zenbook A14 ( £650 - 1500 )

If you prefer to keep things simple and need an affordable, classic-style laptop that can handle every task, the new Asus Zenbook A14 is worth considering. it's an ultralight, day-long AI powerhouse. It’s the lightest Zenbook in the 2026 lineup (990g, 30% lighter and 3 times stronger than aluminum). Like the Zenbook Duo, it features a Ceraluminum chassis, and like the ProArt PZ14, it comes equipped with the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip (18 Cores, 80 TOPS) and the top tier NPU for advanced AI processing speeds.

The battery life is solid, lasting up to 33 Hours on a single charge, and the display is very impressive in its category. It’s a 14” OLED ( FHD Lumina OLED Display). And because it uses a Snapdragon processor, it supports Snapdragon Sound, which is amazing if you have earbuds or headphones that support it, and the built-in stereo bass-enhanced super-linear speakers are a plus.

And it’s durable too, just like the ProArt laptops in this video. Asus has put the A14 through the MIL-STD-810H durability tests, and the Ceraluminum material, which is both lighter and stronger than aluminium, is also much more scratch-, shock-, and smudge-resistant.

The internal hardware options are also very good (32GB of RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD), and the onboard port options are ideal for this type of laptop. ( 2x USB 4 Type-C, 1x USB 4 Type-A, 1x HDMI, and an audio jack ).

It’s also got a large touchpad, a specially designed EasyLift™ hinge, an IR camera for face unlock, and Microsoft Pluton preinstalled for security. This will likely be one of the best-selling Asus laptops in the lineup this year, thanks to its all-around value for money and solid performance.

Zenbook A16 ( £1200 to £1700 )

And this next one is perfect for mobile video editors who crave canvas space and enjoy the Zenbook 14 but want to step it up a notch: the Zenbook A16. This model offers many of the same specs as the A14, but it has a bigger, brighter 16-inch display with a higher 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Ultra-Bright Lumina OLED display at this size provides a significant advantage for those looking for more screen real estate, ensuring you have all the room needed to view and edit video projects with ease. It has a peak brightness of 1100 nits for vibrant and crisp image quality.

The battery size is same as  A14 also significantly bigger with its 70Wh cell (supporting all-day battery life with cinemetic OLED). And instead of a stereo speaker, this one has the same 6-speaker setup amount(tweeter*2, woofer*4) as the Asus Zenbook Duo. The Chipset is more powerful than the A14’s. This one has the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme, which is amazing for performance, power efficiency and especially AI.

The I/O is similar to the smaller Zenbook A14; however, the A16 has a full-size SD card slot. It also has a dual-fan setup to keep thermal throttling to a minimum whilst staying quiet. And the ROM and RAM options are slightly better here as well (up to 48GB of RAM with an ultra-fast 228GB/s memory bandwidth and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage).

So these have been five work and productivity Asus laptops to keep an eye on in 2026. If one of these models has caught your interest, and you have any questions let me know in the comments, and if you’re a gamer, Asus has made some impressive strides in this area too, ( clips of gaming rigs and laptops.). Let me know if you want me to check out any of this stuff in a future video! Check out the links in the description for more information. Let us know your questions in the comments.
